My Favorite Things - MFTWSC360 & Color Challenge 82...Warmest Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! I'm quickly stopping by with a card for the My Favorite Things Stamps Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch challenge # 360 and the MFT Color Challenge # 82. I used the Winter Warmth Stamp Set and coordinating Winter Warmth Die-namics to make a non-traditional Christmas card.

I made a 5X5 square card and used Blueprints 14. I flipped the sketch around so I could put the sentiment at the top of the card.

 photo MFTWSC360C_edited-RS3_zps38qmezcq.jpg
I used the rounded corner panel from the Blueprints 14 cut from Natural Heavyweight Card Stock and stencilled with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink with the Reverse Confetti Pointed Out Stencil. I cut two mitred corner strips from yellow sparkly card stock and then clustered the various stamped images from Winter Warmth Stamp set along the strips.

I stamped a white embossed sentiment from the Hug in a Mug Stamp Set on Neutral Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the fishtail flag from Blueprints 12. I tied the sentiment panel with coral hemp twine and embellished with coral enamel dots. I flicked on some little white splatters with watered-down Sweet Tooth Pigment ink.

Hello stampin' friends! I'm glad I found some time this weekend to make this card with my Reverse Confetti Bearing Gifts Stamp set for the Color Throwdown Challenge # 649...such a gorgeous colour combo! I used the November Reverse Confetti Sketch for You To Try # 54 again....love, love, love this versatile sketch too!

I used Reverse Confetti Card Stock in Navy and Baby Blue and MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Grout Grey.  I also used Distress Ink in Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot
Here is the fabulous Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 54!

I used the "smooshing technique" on watercolour paper with Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress ink and then cut it out with the Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts and cut a second tag from Navy Cardstock then stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Bearing Gifts Stamp set.

I colored up the sweet Bearing Gifts bear and the mountains with my Copics and stamped several trees on the "smooshed" watercolor paper. I popped the bear up on the Navy Scalloped circle cut with the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts. I cut everything out with the coordinating Bearing Gifts Confetti Cuts.  Finally, embellishing with Navy hemp twine and sparkly silver YNS Gumdrops.

Hello stampin' friends! It is time for another FUN challenge over at Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge for Nov. 15 - Acorns. We have another fabulous inspirational photo for you to use if you choose or anything goes! When I saw this photo I knew this Your Next Stamp Autumn Animals Stamp set would be perfect and I'm playing along with the Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge # 77 too.

I used the YNS Sketch # 77 but swapped out the circle element with the largest Cool Tag Die Set from Your Next Stamp.

I stamped the images with  Your Next Stamp Black Olive Premium Dye Ink and coloured them with my Copics. The YNS Black Olive ink is specially formulated to be compatible with Copic Markers. I then cut out the images with the coordinating Autumn Animals Die Set and created a little scene on the tag with the YNS Spring/Summer Create a Scene Die Set.

The sweet sentiment is from the Autumn Animals Stamp set, stamped on Grout Grey Heavyweight Card Stock with MFT Paver Red Premium Dye. I embellished with American Crafts Brown Hemp Cord and Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

This set is SO darn cute and I'm totally in love with these cute little animals dressed for winter and decking the halls. I'm excited that I was able to get a start on my Christmas cards and I know I will be making more cards with this darling Deck the Halls stamp set

The YNS Sketch Challenge # 76 is such a great sketch....I flipped it around so that it would work better with my images.

La La Land Crafts - Curtain Call Challenge - Nov. 1 - Cider & Sunday Stamps Challenge # 164

Hello stampin' friends! We have a yummy inspirational challenge over at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Nov.1 - Cider. I hope you can join us! Remember you can take inspiration from the festive photo that we have for you or anything goes! I used Hot Cocoa Marci Digi from La La Land Crafts for this card.

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Hot Fudge, Kraft, Paver Red, Orange Fizz and Primitive Cream

And I used this GREAT sketch that they have over at Sunday Stamps # 164 but flipped around the sketch to work with my image.
I took inspiration from the photo for the autumnal colour combo and coloured up the darling Hot Cocoa Marci digi from La La Land Crafts. I started off by stencilling with the Reverse Confetti Lotsa Dots Stencil with Rusty Hinge and Festive Berries Distress ink on Kraft Cardstock. I used my all time favourite MFT Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-nmaics to cut out a scrap of Orange Fizz Cardstock stamped with the MFT Wood Plank Background Stamp. I also used the MFT Vertical Stitched Strips and my MFT Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics for all the different layered strips.
I coloured Hot Cocoa Marci with my Copics, fussy cut her out and then popped her up on the card front. I stamped a sentiment from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Harvest Blessings Stamp set on Primitive Heavyweight Cardstock with Paver Red Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with Orange Hemp cord and a sprinkling of sparkly Red YNS Gumdrops

I finished up the inside of my card too....a shadow image of Hot Cocoa Marci and the sentiment is from the MFT DC Trick or Sweet Stamp set and Layered Treat Tag Die-namics.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Hot Cocoa Marci card for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge Nov. 1 - Cider and the Sunday Stamps Challenge #164. I hope you can find some time to get crafty and join us!
