Reverse Confetti...CTD # 316 and DS # 174...Happy Halloween!

Hey stampin' friends! Are all your little Trick-or-Treaters ready for Halloween? I thought I would make one more Halloween card before the big night!

We have another fabulous colour combo for you over at the Color Throwdown...CTD316! I've thoroughly enjoyed my time Guesting for the CTD this month but this is definitely not the last time joining in on the CTD...it's my fave color challenge!  This is also my last Guest DT card for Reverse Confetti. I have had such an AMAZING time being the Reverse Confetti 'Fetti Friend for September and October! I 'm SO grateful for the wonderful opportunity! Again, not my last RC card by any stretch...I'm a 'Fetti Friend for life and can't wait to get my inky hands on the Reverse Confetti November release.

I used the Reverse Confetti Spooky Sentiments and Spooky Cuties Stamp sets. I stamped the sentiment on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock with Steel Grey Hybrid Ink pad. I added a few spooky little cuties too...I stamped them with Tangy Orange, Black Licorice and Olive Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with some yellow AC twine and Blueberry Gumdrops from YNS.

I finished of the inside of the card...I added another little scalloped edge cut from the Reverse Confetti Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts. I also used the Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiments from the Spooky Sentiments in Steel Grey Hybrid Ink and colored in the "31" with my Copics.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my Reverse Confetti card for the Color Throwdown # 316 and Deconstructed Sketch # 174! I hope you can join us for the Color Throwdown this week!

Reverse Confetti...The Color Throwdown # 315 & DS # 173...With A Grateful Heart!

Hello stampin' friends! WOW! I can't believe it is time for another Color Throwdown! Time just flew by for me as we had the Thanksgiving week off and were working on the kitchen reno...the new floor is down and the back-splash tiling has commenced ;)

I really LOVE this week's Color Throwdown # 315 by Jodi and the inspirational photo was just what I needed to get the creative ideas flowing. I made my card this week with my fave Reverse Confetti Stamps and Confetti Cuts!

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Tangy Orange, Primitive Cream, Lemon Drop and Olive

I thought I would play along with this week's Deconstructed Sketch - DS173

 photo TCD315F_edited-2RS9_zps55503300.jpg

I just love the Reverse Confetti Give Thanks Stamp set and the coordinating Reverse Confetti Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts...I've got so much use out of this great set! I stamped another sentiment from Give Thanks in Olive Premium Dye ink on Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock

I wanted to make white pumpkins just like in this week's CTD315 inspirational photo...I had a happy accident when I stamped the pumpkins from the RC Spooky Cuties and the Forever Fall Stamp sets. I stamped them with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and then I quickly grabbed, what I thought was my Zing White Embossing Powder, but it was actually clear embossing powder...in the end I actually liked the subtle effect that I got with the clear embossing powder over the white pigment ink on the coloured card stock!

For the scalloped edge that the sketch calls for I used the NEW Reverse Confetti Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts and I also stamped the fabulous wood-grain border from Reverse Confetti Forever Fall in Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink

Here is a detail shot of the clear embossed pumpkins stamped with MFT Sweet Tooth Pigment ink. I embellished with some AC Natural Twine and Lemon YNS Gumdrops.

I finished off the inside of my card too....I basically followed the same sketch, added in a few more embossed pumpkins and stamped another sentiment from the Give Thanks Stamp Set in Olive Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for popping by and having a little look at my Reverse Confetti card for this week's Color Throwdown # 315 and the DS # 173! Hope you can join us for CTD315!!!

Reverse Confetti...The Color Throwdown # 314 & DS172...Bountiful Blessings!

Hey stampin' friends! Well, Thanksgiving has come and passed for us! My Mom and Dad cooked an absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner for us with all the trimmings! I also did a little shopping on the Thanksgiving long weekend! Chris and I went to pick up our new kitchen flooring and since we were in the area I just had to stop by One Crazy Stamper and get my Christmas card papers. I fell in love with this Authentique Grateful 6X6 papers and it ended up in my cart too!  I thought it was the perfect paper for the fabulous color pallet that Lori selected for this week's Color Throwdown # 314!

http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.ca/

Here is the great colour combo CTD314 that we have this week at
The Color Throwdown!
I used MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Kraft, Whip Cream, Paver Red, Pink Lemonade and a little touch of Olive.

I used this great sketch that they have over at The Deconstructed Sketch - DS172!

 photo CTD314_edited-1RS1_zps9ab9c34a.jpg

I made the card-base from Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock and used the Love Note, Class Act and the Give Thanks Label Confetti Cuts. I stamped a sentiment from the Give Thanks Stamp set in Paver Red Premium Dye Ink and I stamped the cute circle heart stamp from the NEW Roundabout Additions Stamp set and cut it out with the Circles 'N Scallops Confetti Cuts. I punched a hole in it to make a little tag and tied it with some cream Hemp twine. I embellished with some pretty YNS Sparkly Pink Gumdrops.

 photo CTD314C_edited-1RS3_zpsccf56d9e.jpg

I finished off the inside of my card and stamped another sentiment from the Give Thanks Stamp set.

 photo CTD314E_edited-1RS5_zps5bedcc71.jpg

I also made these cute and easy to make, place setting name cards. They are perfect to dress up you holiday table! I used the NEW Envie Wrap and Circle 'N Scallops Confetti Cuts.

 photo CTD314D_edited-1RS4_zps1235cddb.jpg

I used the Lighthearted Letters Stamp set to stamp the names of the fishtail labels from Tag Me Confetti Cuts

Here is a little step-by-step tutorial on how to assemble the Envie Wrap place setting name card.

Cut two Envie Wraps from Heavyweight Card Stock

fold both die-cuts along the dashed line and apply adhesive to the bottom of one of the Envie Wraps

Adhere the Envie Wraps

Apply more adhesive to the top of the name card and then adhere top together
lining up the scalloped edge.

this is what it looks like once you have it put together

Cut pattern paper with the Circle 'N Scallops Confetti Cuts and stamp name with the Lighthearted Letters on the fishtail Label from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card for this week's Color Throwdown # 314! I hope you can join us for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!
