My Favorite Things...WSC # 131...I Miss You Beary Much!

 photo MFTWSC131B_edited-1RS2_zpsdcd4a8e1.jpg

Hi stampin' friends! I went to a Crop on the weekend and surprisingly, I accomplished quite a bit with all the chatting and breaks to eat, I managed to make a scarpbooking page and a card. I used this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch...MFTWSC131 for this card with the  Prue Innocence On a Picnic Stamp set and the Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics.

Here is the great sketch that they have this week!

I inked up the super cute new Pure Innocence On a Picnic Stamp set and paired her with Authentique Grace 6x6 paper pad...I flipped the sketch to fit the image.  I coloured the PI On a Picnic girl with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit and inked in a sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and ground with Tea Dye Distress Ink and then added in some grass with my PrismaColor Pencils.  I also used the new Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics, cut from MFT Smooth White Heavyweight Card Stock and then stamped it with Kraft Premium Dye ink with the wood grain stamp from the LJD Western Backgrounds Stamp set. I replaced the flower on the sketch with a sun using the Sunshine Die-namics. I added a sentiment combining a sentiment from the Pure Innocence All Occasions Sentiment set and the PI Bear Hugs. Finally I cut a few clouds with the Jumbo Cloud STAX Die-namics and the little clouds from You Move Me Die-namics from Sweet Tooth Felt.

Here is the inside...I stamped the Pure Innocence On a Picnic girl in Bubblegum Premium Dye Ink on the gorgeous new Primitive White Heavyweight Card Stock and used my fave Sweet Stack Labels Die-namics and the Sentiments Strips Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the PI On a Picnic Stamp set in MFT Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink.

Thanks SO much for popping by and havin' a wee peek at my card with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch # 131!

My Favorite Things...Scrap Sketch # 9...WDW Memories!

 photo MFTSCRAP9B_edited-1RS2_zpsc750cf68.jpg

Hey Stampin' Friends! Just sharing a page I made with this month's My Favorite Things Stamps... MFTSCRAP Sketch # 9! I went to a Crop with my friends Dana and Jackie. They run a Crop once a month in a church hall. It was my first time attending and I had SO much FUN...what a great group of ladies to scrap with, lots of time spent scrapping, colouring, stamping and chatting...oh and eating :)

Here is the FUN sketch that they have this week...LOVE it!

 photo MFTSCRAP9_edited-1RS1_zps91810ca5.jpg

I scrapped more pics from our last trip to Disney World in April. I used Heidi Swapp No Limits 12X12 paper pad. I LOVE the sketch but not enough layers for me...sorry, I like LOTS of layers so I strayed a bit but I think you can still see the sketch.

I absolutely love this candid shot of Hannah getting an unexpected hug from Pluto during the Parade at Animal Kingdom. I wanted it to be the focal so I used a 4x6 pic and didn't use the Insert It - InstaFrame Die-namics but I added the word Memories with the LLD Accent It - Story Titles.

 photo MFTSCRAP9D_edited-1RS4_zps628508c9.jpg

Kieran pulling his Gaston face at Magic Kingdom in then new Fantasyland... I used the LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs and I combined two sentiments to create the sentiment I wanted with the  LLD Document It - Bingo Stamp set and the LLD Document It - Expand Your View Stamp set.  I added the stars from the LLD Document It - Rock On Stamp set. I stamped with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Orange Fizz and MFT Premium Dye Ink in Steel Blue.

We're totally addicted to Toy Story Mania ride/game at Hollywood Studios. I snapped this pic of Kieran and Hannah all ready to play...3D glasses and all.  I cut all the LLD Insert It - InstaFrames From MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Sweet Tooth. On this InstaFrame I stamped with the LLD Border It - Mod Borders with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Orange Fizz and layered it with the flag from the LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs. I stamped "Let's Play" from the LLD Journal It - Playlist.  I also cut a lot of stars for this page with the Star STAX Die-namics and the Stacking Stars Die-namics. I used the fabulous Bottom Line Alphabet Die-namics for the title...WDW.

Hannah has always LOVED Maire from the AristoCats and when she saw Maire she just had to get a pic with her...she had to crouch down she was almost taller than Maire. I stamped this sentiment from the LLD Document It - Off the Chart in Steel Blue Premium Dye In. I sprinkled in a few more stars and enamel dots. I used the LLD Accent It - Labels and Tabs Die-namics and the LLD Document It - Days and Dates to add in the date. Since I was at a Crop I didn't have access to ALL my Die-namics but I really wanted to add in a silver glittery scalloped edge. I had the Double Dots Border Die-namics with me so I cut it in half and tucked it under the edge of the pattern paper...perfect!

Well, thanks for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my page! I'm looking forward to attending the monthly crop again and it's a great chance for me to get scrappy/sketchy with the monthly MFT Scrap Sketch!

Saturated Canary Challenge # 46...Picture Perfect Birthday!

 photo SCTourtistHBblueB_edited-1RS2_zps9328d3ca.jpg

Hey stampin' friends! I made this card for my daughter Hannah's 14th birthday today! I can hardly believe she is 14 years old! We went to the Mandarin for a late lunch and then went bowling...lots of FUN!

So, I thought I would join the challenge over at the the Saturated Canary Challenge # 46...Summer Fruits...(to use paper with fruit or fruit as inspiration for colour combo). My mom is from Northern Ontario and summer fruits instantly made me think of the stories she tells of her childhood summers spent blueberry picking...nothing like wild blueberries!

 photo SCTouristHBblue_edited-1RS1_zps253c4898.jpg

So, for my card I used Authentique 6x6 paper pad called Journey and coloured up this cutie, the Tourist, she SO reminds me of my Hannah! I LOVE these pretty flowers from the Blueprints 3 and I added a few Berrylicious Buttons tied with hemp cord. I also added some silvery glittery "flags" cut with the Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics.

I stamped the sentiment from the PI Birthday Girl Stamps set with Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink. I cut the tickets with the little ticket die-namics form Blueprints 3 from MFT Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock.

Here is the inside...I stamped this sentiment from the PI Little Shutterbug Stamp set. I added another pretty flower with a Berrylicious Button.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at the birthday card that I made for Hannah!

 photo MFTWSC130BG97B_edited-1RS2_zps5af0a006.jpg

Hello Stampin' friends! I've been taking a little stampin' and bloggin' break! I wasn't sure my mojo was ever going to come back but I thought if I got sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club then maybe my mojo would reappear...a sketch is always a great way to get the creative juices flowing again!

Here is the fabulous sketch that I used for my card!

 photo MFTWSC130BG97_edited-1RS1_zps9afd70ad.jpg

I got a great deal on BasicGrey Paper Cottage wood buttons and some Hemptique cord at Winners the other day so I pulled out my Paper Cottage 6x6 paper pad to go with the BG Paper Cottage button. I used the MFT Heirloom Label Die-namics,  the Flower Medley Die-namics and the Solid Bracket Border Die-namics. I matted with MFT Blu Raspberry, Red Hot, Hot Fudge and the gorgeous new Primitive Cream Heavyweight Card Stock. This sentiment from the, Chalkboard Greetings Stamp set, is sound advice that I need to heed myself at the mo :) I also added in a few ink spatters with the the Abstract Art Stamp set and stamped with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink.

 photo MFTWSC130BG97D_edited-1RS4_zpsb8b22997.jpg

Here is the inside...I used the same layout as the front of the card and used a sentiment from the Lisa Johnson Designs On the Line Sentiment Stamp set...I added a few more ink spatters with the Abstract Art Stamp set and added another pretty flower cut with the Flower Medley Die-namics with another BasicGrey Paper Cottage wood Button tied with Hemptique cord.

Well thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card! Have a great week!
