Photobucket

For my card today I decided to ink up this cutie  PI Goldfish Girl and teamed her up with this pretty Echo Park This and That 2 Documented 6x6 paper pad and matted with Nightshift Blue Heavyweight card stock and Sno Cone Heavyweight card stock . I Coloured my PI Goldfish Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her out-fit and the goldfish bowl stand. I cut the image out with my Rectangle STAX Die-namics and inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink. I added some fish food sprinkled from her fingers with my Buttermilk Spica pen. I also used my Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers Die-namics. I made my flowers from Replenishments felt in Banana Split and Nightshift Blue using the Sunflower Die-namics and Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics. I added a Nightshift Blue Button tied with Hemp cord to the center of my Sunflower.  I stamped this cute sentiment from the Goldfish Girl Stamp set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

Photobucket

Here is the inside...I stamped the PI Goldfish Girl again and a sentiment from the PI All Occasions Sentiment Stamp set. I added a few more Sunflowers with Nightshift Blue Buttons and a mini rolled rose.

Here is the fabulous MFT Scrap Sketch that we have for you this month!!!

Photobucket

I was SO glad to get to make this 12X12 page of some of the pics I took of my daughter, Hannah, this month when we had a little outdoor Fall photo-shoot a couple of weeks ago. I had this pretty BoBunny Serenade paper in mind when we took the pictures. For my page, I flipped the sketch around as I didn't have enough good landscape photos and then I had a hard time just picking 3 pictures of Hannah. So, I used 4 small wallet sized photos. I love using a sketch as a jumping off point for my scarpbooking layouts but I also like to make minor adjustments, if needed, to make it my own.
Photobucket

I used the prefect sentiment for this page from the Clearly Sentimental About Harvesting Stamp set and stamped it on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX and Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I also cut 3 large Leafy Flourishes from Black corrugated card and used the NEW Highrise Alphabet Die-namics Uppercase cut from black corrugated cardstock for my title and inked with White Mixed Media Inx.

Photobucket

I cut several leaves with the Fall Leaves Die-namics from canvas material, stamped them with the script stamp from Lisa Johnson Designs - Thankful Leaves Stamp Set and then spritzed them with Caramel Apple, Jingle Bells, Candy Apple, Juniper, and Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist. I added some Wild Cherry Buttons and hemp cord to each grouping of leaves. I stamped my daughter's initials on a tag from the Howdy Die-namics with the alphabet stamps from the Let's Toast Stamp set. I tucked a Simply Scallop border under the main focal image and added a little line of red gems.

Photobucket

I cut 3 of the smallest Fishtails from corrugated card and added them under the photo.

Photobucket

I tucked another border cut with the Simply Scallop Border Die-namics under the panel. I also stamped the script stamp from the Thankful Leaves stamp set on the tag from the Howdy Die-namics and tied a bow with hemp cord.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my layout using this month's MFTSCRAP1/MFTPL1 scrappy sketch. We are SO looking forward to seeing your wonderful scarpbooking and PL pages using your MFT Stamps and Die-namics. Please head on over to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with some Scrappy inspiration for you!

Happy Scrappin'!

Here is the fun sketch that we have this week! Hope you can join us!

Photobucket

For my card today, I inked up the precious PI Indian Girl...I love her to bits...SO sweet! I paired her with BasicGrey Pyrus 6x6 papers. I coloured the PI Indian Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her traditional Jingle dress. Now she is all set for some dancing at the Pow Wow!  I cut the image out with my Circle STAX Die-namics and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and drew in some grass with my PrismaColor Pencil.s

I followed the sketch but made a few adjustments...I added an Open Scallop Border Die-namics and some brown AC ribbon and repositioned the tag cut with the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics so that it hangs from the image panel. I stamped one of the sentiments from the PI Indian Girl on the Bracket Tab Die-namics and another on the tag and added a flower made with the Flower Trio and Leaf Die-namics. I added a BasicGrey Dragonfly Epoxy brad to the centre of the tag and flower.

My Favorite Thigns Stamps...October New Product Tour...PI Corn Maze Girl...Shucks!

Photobucket

Hello stampin' friends! Well, the time has come....to SHOP! Yes, that's right all the NEW October release stamps and Die-namics are now available in the MFT on-line shop! Now before you start your shopping, join us for the October Release NEW Product Tour! I am featuring the super cute NEW Pure Innocence, Corn Maze Girl stamp set and teamed her up with some pretty BasicGrey Clippings 6x6 papers with the NEW Nightshift Blue Coordinating Replenishments.

Photobucket

Since I spent some extra time on stamping, masking, colouring and paper piecing my sweet PI Corn Maze Girl, I kept the card quite simple. If you can believe there is just one layer of pattern paper here :)  I didn't want to cover up this pretty sheet from the BasicGrey Clippings 6x6 paper pad. I matted my card with MFT Replenishments NEW Nightshift Blue Heavyweight card stock and added a big bow with Nightshift Blue Grosgrain ribbon and Nightshift Blue buttons tied with Hemp cord. I stamped one of the cute sentiments from the set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut with the Mini Tab Foursome Die-namics.

Photobucket

Here is a detail shot of my PI Corn Maze Girl...this stamp set comes with the corn stock accessory stamp. So, I made a mask of the PI Corn Maze Girl and the corn stalk from Eclipse tape and stamped the scene. Using a mask with your cornstalk, ensure that the leaves fall in front and or behind each other and look more realistic. I coloured the PI Corn Maze Girl and the corn stalks with my Copics, paper pieced her cute outfit and then added some grass and ground with my PrismaColor Pencils. I cut the image out with my Rectangle STAX Die-namics and inked with Tumbled Glass, Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks. I added some buttons to the PI girls vest with my Sakura Black Glaze pen.
Photobucket
Here is the inside of my card...I stamped a sentiment from the PI Girl Doctor stamp set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock and added a little more Nightshift Blue Grosgrain ribbon and two more cute Nightshift Blue Button.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a wee peek at my card featuring the NEW Pure Innocence, Corn Stalk Girl Stamp set! It has been a quite a while since I've scrapbooked and I've since developed a bit of a fear of making 12X12 scarpbooking pages...just seems SO big. Well, I decide to just get over the fear of the larger format and go for it! I had a little rummage around in my picture boxes and came across these Christmas pictures from 2004.  It was so much fun to work with these pictures of the kids when they were so little and I am happy to have these memories preserved.

I'm actually quite happy with how this 2 page layout turned out and it was super easy using the NEW Liana Lamb Designs Journal it - Top 10 and Document it - December stamps with the NEW Insert it 3X4 Die-namics by Laina Lamb.  I used some BoBunny 12X12 paper that I bought last year or maybe the year before...eeekk...with good intentions of using it and so I pulled them out and got to work.

Photobucket

For my first page, I matted with Jellybean Green and Nightshift Heavyweight cardstock. Here you can see how I used the  NEW Insert it 3X4 Die-namics  and NEW Journal it and Document It Stamps set. I cut the Insert It Die-namics from Whip Cream Heavyweight card stock and stamped the ledger paper stamp on it from the Journal It - Top 10 set. I also stamped the heading with stamps from the Document it - December stamp set. I added some hand written journaling on the Insert It 3X4 card that I cut and added the little check mark cut from Nightshift Heavyweight card stock from the Accent It Die-namics.

Have you notice that I LOVE the little circle charm/tag from the Howdy Die-namics? I stamped the "stars" or "snowflakes" from the Seasonal Sentiments set on the tags and tied them with hemp cord and placed them here and there on the page.

Photobucket

The little stars are from the NEW Seasonal Sentiments set as is the Title of the Page and stamped it on pattern paper cut with the Fishtail Flags Die-namics and the NEW Fishtail Flags Layers Die-namics. I cut the "WE" with the NEW Highrise alphabet Uppercase Die-namics and inked with white Mixed Media Inx.

Photobucket

I also used the NEW Howdy and NEW Accent it - Flags and Tags Die-namics and stamped sentiments from the NEW Document it - December and the NEW Seasonal Sentiments stamp set. I stamped "remember the moment" from the Behind the Camera Stamp set on Whip Cream Heavyweight card stock cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.
Photobucket

Here is the second page...again I cut the title with the NEW Highrise Alphabet Die-namics Uppercase from corrugated cardstock and matted it on Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Layers STAX Die-namics and inked with White Mixed Media Inx. I also cut 4 Open Scallop Borders from Jellybean Green Heavyweight card stock and ran the across the pages and wrapped and tied them with a hemp cord and tied a bow.

Photobucket

I added a few more of the fabulous little Circle Charms from the NEW Howdy Die-namics and stamped the Peace and Joy sentiments from the NEW Seasonal Sentiments stamp set on Whip Cream heavyweight card stock cut with the Howdy Die-namics.

Well, thanks SO much for stopping by and having a look-see at the double 12x12 layout that I made with my the NEW Journal it -Top 10 and Document it - December stamps with the NEW Insert it 3X4 Die-namics by Laina Lamb! Please head on over to Kim's blog for links to all the MFT Designers with project to share using the Die-namics from the October MFT Release.

I love the NEW PI Turkey Time Stamp set and it's perfect for all your holiday cards and can easily be used for many other occasions too. I couldn't resist using the gorgeous new Authentique Peaceful 6x6 paper and so I went for a Christmas theme on my cards today. For my first card I stamped up the super sweet NEW PI Turkey Time and coloured her with my Copics and the paper pieced her dress. I then cut her out and pop-dotted her on the main panel cut with the Dizzy Doily Duo from corrugated cardstock. I used the NEW Fisthail Flag Layers STAX Die-namics, the solid circle border from the NEW Western Star Border Duo Die-namics and the gorgeous NEW Sunflower Die-namics also cut from corrugated  cardstock. I matted with MFT Replenishments Licorice, Jellybean Green and Steel Grey Heavyweight card stock. I stamped one of the sentiments from the PI Turkey Time stamp set on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight card stock cut out with with one of the Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I embellished with Jellybean Green and Licorice Buttons, Hemp cord and some pretty green gems.

Photobucket

Here is the inside...I stamped the PI girl again and used a sentiment from the PI Holly Girl Stamp  set. I added a few more Sunflowers with the NEW Sunflower Die-namics and pretty Jellybean Green and Licorice Buttons with Hemp Cord.

Photobucket

Now for my second card...this is NEW PI Corn Maze Girl...but wait where is the corn maze...well, I thought she would be perfect for a winter wonderland themed card too.

Photobucket

I coloured the NEW PI Corn Maze Girl with my Copics and paper pieced her cute out-fit. I cut the image out with the Oval STAX Die-namics and inked with Antique Linen Distress ink and then added Polar White Flower Soft for some snow. I layered the main image on the Open Scallop Oval Doily cut from corrugated cardstock.  I added the Solid border form the NEW Western Star Border Duo Die-namics and used the NEW Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics I stamped a sentiment from the PI Holiday Hugs Snowman Stamp set and stamped the XOXO from the PI All Occasions Stamp set on the circle charm from the NEW Howdy Die-namics. I matted with Licorice, Natural and Steel Grey Heavyweight Card Stock and added some Hemp cord and a Jellybean Green Button.
